Your Today’s Vision will help you select the right style frame and colors for your face, but here are a few suggestions:
Any style (dark of light colored frames)
Square or angular frame shapes
Round or oval eyeglasses with dark or bold colored frames
Round or oval glasses but thin, light-colored frames to balance narrow chin
Oval and rimless frames and glasses with strong brow lines
Online shopping can save time, but shopping for eyeglasses is best done in-store for several reasons:
Many online companies sell discontinued frames. Finding future replacement parts will be a challenge. Also, online companies may have limited lens selections.
Eyeglasses convey your sense of style. Personal consultation does not occur online. More importantly, accurate measurement of the seg height and pupil positioning are critical to seeing properly. Our opticians also factor in panascopic tilt (how you wear your glasses). This is better done in-person (and possibly with additional technology).
You get what you pay for: Do I want to pay slightly more consultation and correct fit, or deal with returns?
