Online shopping can save time, but shopping for eyeglasses is best done in-store for several reasons:
QUALITY
Many online companies sell discontinued frames. Finding future replacement parts will be a challenge. Also, online companies may have limited lens selections.
FIT
Eyeglasses convey your sense of style. Personal consultation does not occur online. More importantly, accurate measurement of the seg height and pupil positioning are critical to seeing properly. Our opticians also factor in panascopic tilt (how you wear your glasses). This is better done in-person (and possibly with additional technology).
PRICE
You get what you pay for: Do I want to pay slightly more consultation and correct fit, or deal with returns?
